Columbia University President Lee Bollinger and Executive Vice President and Provost Alan Brinkley met on March 18 with Tsinghua University President Gu Binglin during a visit to the campus. They exchanged ideas on university development and discussed strategies for broadening cooperation between Columbia and Tsinghua in the future.

Founded in 1754, Columbia University is one of the oldest universities in the United States and has a reputation for being one of the top universities in the world.
