Professor Huang Kezhi of Tsinghua University’s Department of Engineering Mechanics and Chinese Academy of Sciences member was selected as one of China’s “Top Ten Talents in Education” for 2007 according to appraisal results recently released.

As a founder of the Department of Engineering Mechanics, Professor Huang has made great contributions to the development, research, and teaching of engineering mechanics and cultivated a many outstanding students in that field.

China's “Top Ten Talents” series makes annual selections in ten categories such as "Top Ten Talents in Innovation", "Top Ten Talents in Science and Technology" and "Top 10 Talents in Education".
